Lifelong friends and fellow music fanatics, step-cousins* Joe Welch and Marcus Welch began to imagine the idea of Quadio in their Brooklyn apartment in 2018, and in 2019, joined forces with Miranda Martell, an LA-native, marketing exec (and closet songwriter) to conceptualize and create Quadio 2.0. Their collective dream was to make it fun and easy for emerging artists to find each other for collabs and community, and to shine a spotlight on the incredible and under-appreciated work of the next generation of creative icons. Through its new app, community programming, and label, Quadio Records, Quadio now helps Gen Z artists hone their craft, expand their networks, build their creative crews, and discover opportunities to take their passions from hobby to career.
