Community Guidelines

Quadio welcomes your questions or comments regarding our community guidelines.
QuadioMedia, Inc.
13-15 W 27 th St.
New York, NY 10001
Quadio aims to be a safe, respectful, and collaborative community where users can exercise creative expression. This page includes important information about our guidelines for using Quadio. Please review this information carefully; we take these guidelines seriously and expect our users to do the same.

Please keep in mind that these guidelines are for illustrative purposes and are not exhaustive. Quadio reserves the right to remove any content or user at our discretion.

Hate Content
Quadio does not allow hate content. This includes, but is not limited to, hate content in images, audio files, and text on any part of Quadio as well as links to hate content on other sites. Hate content is content that promotes or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, age, nationality, veteran status, or sexual orientation, and/or content whose primary purpose is inciting hatred on the basis of these characteristics.

Pornographic Content
Quadio is not a place for pornographic content -- whether that content is produced with the intent to be primarily sexual in nature, or whether it could be perceived that way. This includes, but is not limited to, images containing nudity and recordings or detailed descriptions of sexual acts, or links to pornographic sites. A good rule of thumb is not to post anything on Quadio that you would hesitate to share during a job interview.

Abusive or Threatening Behavior
We have no tolerance for abusive or threatening behavior on Quadio. This includes any activity intended to attack or demean someone else, such as content aimed aggressively at sexualizing or degrading other users. Users engaging in this type of activity risk the immediate, permanent termination of their account.

We similarly do not allow any use of intimidation or threats of violence between users, against specific communities or the wider public, or against Quadio employees. Likewise, we don’t permit any incitement to, or glorification of, violent acts against individuals, communities, or the wider public.

Spamming and Harassment
Quadio does not allow users to pursue unwanted, continued contact with another user or group who has indicated they do not wish to be in contact with that user. If a user is reported for sending this type of repeated, unwanted messages or comments, they risk a suspension or termination of their account.

Quadio does not allow impersonation -- users cannot create profiles or post content that is intended to make others believe they are someone else. Users cannot use someone else’s name or trademark without their permission, or pretend to be associated with someone they aren’t, regardless of their intentions in doing so.

Sharing Private Information
We do not allow the sharing of personal details of another person (or entity), without their permission. This includes recordings of private conversations or message threads, full names, photographs, unlisted phone numbers, and home or email addresses.

Copyright Infringement
Quadio is a place for content to be shared and discovered. If you are a content creator uploading to the platform, please read through our terms of service and be careful about how you release your work.

First and most importantly, you are responsible for the content you upload here. Don’t upload or post other peoples’ work without the proper permission and don’t defame anyone with your content.

By uploading or posting content on Quadio, -- including audio, images, or text anywhere on the platform -- you’re affirming that you have the proper permissions to use and share that content. If you have further questions about the content you intend to upload to the platform, please reference the Terms of Service.

If you still have questions, please reach out to us at

Reporting Unacceptable Content and Behavior
We aim to foster a community that embraces these guidelines, and we hope that users will help keep one another accountable for safe, respectful behavior.

As a general rule, we’re unable to prescreen for many kinds of content. It’s possible that you might come across content that you find unacceptable. If you encounter any content or behavior that is illegal or clearly violates these guidelines or Quadio’s Terms of Service – including impersonation, abusive or threatening behavior, pornography or hate content– please report it.

We are serious about evaluating all reports fairly and equitably, and we will remove any content that violates our Terms of Service, these guidelines, or applicable law.

Please understand that something you find unacceptable may not be illegal or a violation of Quadio’s Terms of Service. Reporting content or users will not always result in their removal if they do not violate our guidelines, Terms of Service, or applicable law.

Removal of User Content and/or the Termination of Accounts
If our community team deems any user content or account to be in violation of any applicable law, these community guidelines, or our Terms of Service, we may take that content or account down temporarily as we resolve the issue. We will reach out to the responsible user via email to provide adequate warning and to attempt to resolve the issue on an individual basis.

If we find ourselves needing to warn you more than once, we may temporarily suspend your account or even remove it (or your user content) from Quadio entirely, at our discretion. That said, if the offending user content or account is so extreme or is particularly persistent in its offensive nature, we reserve the right to suspend or remove it at any time and without previous warning.
